I came to this work the way most people come to the things that matter most: the hard way.
Career upheaval, divorce, grief, a complete loss of identity. Sometimes all at the same time. What I found on the other side wasn't a tidy success story. It was a very clear understanding of what it actually takes to rebuild yourself with intention, and a real desire to help other people do the same.
I hold a Master's in Education from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan. I've spent more than 25 years helping people and organizations figure out who they are, what they stand for, and how to move forward.
Alongside my coaching practice, I own and lead PIVOT Strategic Advisors, where my team works with institutions of all sizes on strategic communications, organizational strategy, and community impact. What I do best is find the story you've been telling yourself about what's possible, name it out loud, and help you decide whether it's actually true or just old. That's where the real work starts. And when it's done well, what clients say more than anything else is: I stopped playing small.
I'm based in Reno, NV, where I adventure around the Reno-Tahoe region with my husband and boys, watch way too much soccer, ski whenever possible, and hike with my canine bestie, Bear.
